The University of Missouri will be the site of the 2002 Big 12 Men's and Women's Track & Field Outdoor Championships. This year marks the third time Mizzou has hosted the outdoor championships since the formation of the Big 12.
The Big 12 Track & Field Outdoor Championships will be held May 17-19 at the Audrey J. Walton Track/Soccer Complex on the University of Missouri campus. The complex is located off Carrie Francke Drive, which can be accessed south of Providence Rd. and Stadium Blvd. or west of the same intersection off Stadium Blvd.
When it comes to track & field meets, the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships is arguably one of the top 10 track & field meets in the world in any given year. The Big 12 athletes competing at the 2002 meet will prove that at Walton Stadium in May.
Three-day all-session passes are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors, college students and youth 17 and under. Single day tickets are $8/$6 and groups of 20 or more can purchase tickets for $4/person per day. All seating at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships will be general admission.
Tickets may be purchased by contacting the Missouri ticket office from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST Mon.-Fri. at 1-800-CAT-PAWS or 884-PAWS in Columbia. Tickets can also be purchased the days of the event.
